Roles:
Nicolette- Advocate Brianne- Interrogator Rachel- Antagonist |
The first comment is where I introduce the video. I explain how I am the advocate by stating what I believe. The video is trailer to a documentary how whales in SeaWorld have become violent because they are bound to small cages. I believe that these animals are wild and belong in the wild, not behind a glass.

Brianne asks should SeaWorld shut down? I answer her by stating an argument that a lot of people have. These animals that were taken from the wild, or brought up in zoos and aquariums only know what they have been in their whole life. They are hand fed at a certain time and if you let them in the wild they won't know how to fend for themselves. I believe that shutting down will not help the whales.

I can see why she would think the documentary is scripted. Most things on TV have been scripted. However, I tell her that the documentary has real footage from real events. These animals are wild and belong in the wild. Even if the documentary was scripted the incidents that happened at SeaWorld were real. For example the trainer getting killed in 2010.

To answer Brianne's question I believe that there are three sides to every story. Since we don't know what the whales are actually thinking we could only look at the cold hard facts. When it comes down to it the story is that they are a wild animal. They are carnivorous. If you put a human in with a killer whale they are going to kill. It is their instinct. gggg
